inp.polri.go.id - East Java. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurates the Hospital of Health Ministry as the cause of death in East Java are stroke, cardiac arrest, and cancer.

“East Java ranked third after Yogyakarta and Central Java, and they should be concerned about it. Thus the construction of this hospital in Surabaya is very important,” explains President Jokowi on Friday (9/6/2024).

With the inauguration of the new hospital, Jokowi hopes that people would prefer to undergo medical treatment in Indonesia rather than going abroad, such as Singapore and Malaysia.

He believes that the Health Ministry Hospital, which has the facility of a five star hotel, will be able to give the best service to treat the sick patients.

“This new hospital can prevent foreign exchange loss up to 180 trillion IDR every year, due to our people going to Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, or America for medical treatment," said President Jokowi.
