The Acting Governor of Aceh, Safrizal ZA appreciates the support of the Transportation Minister who provides 480 minibus units to support the mobility of National Sport Week (PON) XXI in Aceh and North Sumatra. The hundreds of the minibus have been distributed directly to the sports branches and contingents that will participate in this prestigious event.

“Thank you to the Transportation Ministry for this helpful support. Previously we have received floating hotels from KM Kelud, and today we received operational support. This aid will greatly help the smooth event of PON XXI,” says Safrizal on Thursday (9/5/2024).

According to Safrizal, the availability of the minibus is very important to support the mobility of the athletes, officials, and other operational needs of PON XXI. With adequate support on transportation, Safrizal is optimistic that the biggest sporting event in Indonesia will be much smoother and more successful.

Safrizal underscores that PON XXI is not an event of Aceh and North Sumatra, but Indonesia as a whole. Therefore, collaboration and support from various parties, including the central government, will be the key for the success of the event.

“We are very grateful for the support given by the Transportation Ministry. This shows that PON XXI is our pride, and the success of this event will be the pride of our nation,” concludes Safrizal.
