Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The American music group Jonas Brothers kicked off their debut concert in Indonesia with a performance of their 2020 hit "What A Man Gotta Do." As part of their global tour "The Tour" at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD, Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday night (24/2/2024), Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Nick Jonas took the stage around 8.18 pm. The audience erupted in cheers as their idols appeared onstage. Nick Jonas wore a black shirt, while Joe Jonas sported a black jacket, and Kevin Jonas donned his brown t-shirt. "Jakarta! Now, we're going to take you back to 2007," Nick Jonas greeted the fans. They continued to thrill the Jonatics, the Jonas Brothers' fans, mostly from the 90s generation, with nostalgia-inducing songs like "SOS," one of the band's most popular songs from 2007. The concert area echoed with the continuous cheers of the fans. Jonas Brothers fans typically started listening to their music during their teenage years. These Jonatics have been eagerly awaiting their idols' arrival in Indonesia for over 15 years. "How's it going? Are you all enjoying yourselves so far?" Joe asked. "Very happy to be here, such a beautiful crowd, now we're going to cool down for a bit," Joe added. They then brought a cooler vibe with the mellow song "Hello Beautiful." Throughout the approximately 30-minute concert, the Jonas Brothers performed around 12 songs, including "Hold On," "When You Look Me in The Eyes," "Year 3000," and "Summer Baby." They also didn't forget to include songs from the musical film "Camp Rock," which propelled Joe Jonas to fame, such as "Gotta Find You." "Jakarta is so beautiful," Kevin said during his performance. The Jonas Brothers' "The Tour" concert celebrates the band's achievement of releasing five albums, themed "Jonas Brothers World Tour Celebrating Five Albums." In the concert, Indonesian singer and former America's Got Talent contestant Putri Ariani appeared as the opening act. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
