Commissioner of the Central Information Commission (KIP) for Socialization and Education, Samrotun Najah Ismail, appreciated the Indonesian National Police's (INP) commitment in terms of public information transparency. He viewed that the information provided by INP could be conveyed and provide benefits to the public.

"Yes, today is the last stage of the series of Public Information Transparency Monitoring and Evaluation. All public bodies, including INP, are conducting public tests. This public test is to find out how the public can directly assess the openness of public bodies, including INP. The evaluation will reveal what is their commitment, what is their strategy, what are their policies, what are their innovations, so that the public knows," he explained.

He considered that the INP under the leadership of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has passed all stages of the assessment as they truly proved its commitment to openness of public information.

"But in general, I truly appreciate and commend the Chief of Police as this is the first time they participated in the public test," he said.

He hoped that INP could continue to carry out the commitment to openness of public information. That way, they can get a similar predicate in the KIP award the following year.
