"We will conduct a psychiatric examination of the suspect," said East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Nicolas Ary Lilipaly.
"Based on the statements of the witnesses, they said the suspect has anger issues," he continued.
East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, on Tuesday (12/17/2024), also revealed that George did not commit the abuse only once. George often threw tantrums and threw things at people.
"There was indeed more than one time when threw tantrums and vented his anger by destroying items at the scene. If there are people around the scene, often times they will have to deal with him," he said.
Regarding the news that George did not have IQ and EQ intelligence, the police will conduct a further psychological test on George to find out.
"Regarding the question that the person concerned has, which is circulating in the community, we will conduct further examinations related to the psychology of this suspect," he said.
Previously reported, the suspect in the case of assault on a bakery employee, George Sugama Halim alias GSH admitted to regretting his actions which caused the victim Dwi Ayu to be injured by being thrown a baking pan.
This was revealed when he was presented at a press conference at the East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police on Monday night (16/12/2024). George Sugama Halim, who was initially fierce and full of emotion, suddenly shrank in front of the police. When asked by the media crew, he admitted that he was wrong.
