Lampung Regional Police implores travelers from Sumatra Island going to Java Island to make sure that they have bought the ferry ticket during the 2024 return flow on Thursday (4/11/2024). The Head of Lampung Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Umi Fadillah Astutik says police and related stakeholders will implement screening strategies for travelers during the homecoming flow. "Makes sure that you have bought the ticket during the homecoming flow when crossing the sea through Bakauheni and Bandar Bakau Jaya Ports," says Umi. He explains that police will screens four wheeled-vehicles on Trans Sumatra Toll Road towards Bakauheni at KM 87 B, 59 B, and 20 B rest areas. Then, travelers will be directed to parking areas at those locations. During the screening, officials will check the tickets. "For travelers owning the ferry ticket for Bakauheni Port will be given green stickers," said Umi. Meanwhile, travelers owning the ferry ships for Bandar Bakau Jaya Port will be given the yellow stickers. "For travelers not going to any ports will be given red stickers," explains Umi. Furthermore, Umi explains that her party prepares a ferizy ticket lockets in rest area for those who have not bought the ferry tickets yet. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
