inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Drug Investigation Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police foils the 12 kilogram of Marijuana circulation in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The Head of Drug Investigation Sub-directorate 1, Superintendent Bariu Bawana says that police arrested a suspect with the initials of W (23) during the raid operation. The suspect was arrested on Sunday (7/28/2024).

Currently W is held behind the bar of Metro Jaya Regional Police cells and named as the suspect. To the investigators, W confessed that he is a drug courier.

“For now, we only got the information that he is the drug courier. However, we will still continue to investigate the case to find out the ones who sent the drugs and those who will receive it,” said Bariu.

W will be charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 111 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
