Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police is developing the National Identity Number (NIN) misuse by a Regional Head Election candidate. Police will develop the case after a person report the case to the police on Friday (8/16/2024).

"True, we will further develop this case," says Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam on Saturday (8/17/2024).

The report was registered with number LP/B/4830/VII/2024/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA.

In the report, suspect were allegedly has violated article 67 paragraph (1) of the 2022 Personal Data Protection Law.

The private data misuse previously has gone viral in social media. The election candidate who was mysteriously supported by numbers of people has passed the administration requirement to run for election in Jakarta
