inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy encourages tourists to use modes of transportation other than planes. These modes of transportation include trains and ferries to visit tourist destinations.

"Of course we encourage tourists to use other modes of transportations such as land vehicles, or trains. For example, while in Batam Bintan they can also use ferries," said the Director of Regional Tourism Marketing I Wisnu Sindhutrisno on Friday (9/20/2024).

In his statement, he said that regarding the expensive price of plane tickets, his party continues to work on reducing plane ticket prices.

“Reducing airplane ticket prices requires us to coordinate with many parties. Thus, we continue to coordinate with related stakeholders every month to resolve the policy matter,” explains Wisnu.

He hopes that the airplane ticket price will be reduced by the first semester of 2025, although the ticket price will not be the same as those before Covid-19 Pandemic.
