The Vice Head of Nusantara Cooling System (NCS) Operation of Indonesian National Police (INP), Brigadier General Yuyun Yudhantara visits Progresif Bumi Shalawat Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo, East Java on Thursday (1/25/2024). “Representing the Head Ops of NCS, we are truly grateful for the support. We also want to convey our humble plea to maintain peace and unity so that election would go safely and peacefully,” says Brigadier General Yuyun. During his visit to the Islamic boarding school, Yuyun and entourage were warmly welcomed by Islamic Boarding School principal Agoes Ali Mashuri or famously known as Gus Ali. During their conversation, NCS entourage underscores the importance of religious figure role in maintaining social unity and harmony. “We also implore the pubic to avoid ant contents containing racism which could polarize the society ahead the 2024 Election. We want for this year’s election to go smoothly and peacefully,” said Yuyun. Furthermore, Gus Ali also offered prays and his strong support to the police, which Yuyun truly appreciates. In his pray, Gus Ali prayed for smooth security effort for safe, order, and conducive election. “East Java is safe,” says Gus Ali. Gus Ali then invites all Indonesians to also give their support for the 2024 General Election. He asked for the citizens and the election participants to be wiser for the sake of state unity. “I invite the people of Indonesia to support the election which will be held on February 14th, 2024. I pray that Allah would give us his grace and blessing to success the election,” pray Gus Ali. He ends his pray by saying that state unity is the most important matter than just a simple interest.
