Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) urged the public to verify their names on the online Permanent Voter List (DPT) to ensure their voting rights in the 2024 Elections. "In our ongoing efforts to boost voter participation in Central Jakarta, we strongly encourage everyone to double-check their registration status through the online DPT verification," said Sahat Dohar Manullang, the Head of the Voter Education, Public Participation, and Human Resources Division of KPU Central Jakarta, on Thursday (25/1/2204). He emphasized that individuals not listed in the DPT or residing outside the address on their ID card can apply for a change in Polling Station (TPS), provided they meet specific conditions within the designated time frame. "Moreover, for those on duty or with tasks on election day, they can still request voter relocation to cast their vote at their duty location," Shat added. He explained that eligible voters in the 2024 Election DPT can apply for relocation or TPS change up to 7 days before the 7 February 2024.  The criteria include work assignment, inpatient care, accompanying an inpatient,  natural disaster, or in custody at a detention center or correctional facility, including those serving a prison sentence or detention.
