inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. In welcoming the 79th Indonesian Independence Day, the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo invites the people of Indonesia to celebrate with stronger spirit and will to build a better and advanced Indoneisa.

On the day when Indonesia gained independece 79 years ago, Chief Sigit underscores that Indonesia has gone through long journey to maintain its sovereignity.

However, in the new era with the advanced technologies, Indonesia must move faster and stronger in facing the everchanging global dynamics.

“Although there are differences between us, we are still working together for our country. Although we have different beliefs, our love still unites us. We will not stop to climb up, together, completing each other,” says the Police General in his instagram post on Friday, August 16th, 2024.

He continues that the journey of Indonesia is not over yet. Every generation has the responsibility and duty to continue the will of the past generation. Therefore, he invites people to stay united as one, to work together, and support each other to realize the grand vision of Advanced Indonesia.
