The patrol departed from the Ternate Resident Port to the surrounding waters to supervise and monitor shipping activities.
During the patrol, officers inspected passing ships, including checking documents and ship identities to ensure compliance with applicable shipping regulations.
Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Bambang Suharyono, revealed that from the results of the inspection, no criminal acts or violations of the law were found during the activity.
The North Maluku Regional Police continues to be committed to maintaining security and order in the waters by intensifying patrols and increasing supervision of shipping activities.
This effort is expected to prevent potential crimes at sea, such as smuggling, illegal fishing, and various other violations that have the potential to disrupt the stability of the waters.
With this routine patrol, police hope that the community, especially fishermen and sea transportation users, can feel safe and comfortable in carrying out activities in the waters of North Maluku.
