Inp.polri.go.id – Dogiyai. Dogiyai Sub-regional Police still investigates the arson of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Dogiyai Regency. According to the reports received by the officials, the fire starts at around 22.05 pm on Tuesday night. “We cannot deduce the cause of the fire that burned down Dogiyai BPBD office,” said Papua Regional Police Public Relations Division Chief, Senior Superintendent Benny on Wednesday (3/13/2024). According to Dogiyai Sub-regional Police Chief, Police Assistant Superintendent Sarraju, the building was made mostly out of wood, which cause the fire to spread fast. Investigators of Dogiyai Sub-regional Police have been dispatched to the location to launch investigation and gather the information on the total loss from the incident. Investigators will also examine witnesses at the location to know more about the chronology of the incident. Furthermore, security officials also deployed to the location to prevent any unforeseen threats. When asked about the security situation in Dogiyai, Benny states that the situation relatively conducive and safe.
