This is a big question that must be solved immediately, thus the investigation process continues," explained the Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirkrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Hengki Haryadi, Tuesday (7/6/22). Dirkrimum Polda Metro Jaya explained that the investigation did not stop after the arrest of Abdul Qadir Baraja. His party will continue to investigate the organization, including the source of funds for its operations. "We will continue to develop it. This is a fairly large organization and we will investigate the source of funds and others," he explained. Previously, the leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin, Abdul Qadir Baraja, was arrested in Lampung. Abdul Qadir's arrest was not only related to the convoy action that previously took place in Cawang, East Jakarta. The Khilafatul Muslimin group is allegedly spread the ideas of caliphate to replace Pancasila as the ideology of Indonesia. "This group suggest caliphate to replace Pancasila as the state ideology which is certainly contrary to the 1945 Constitution and Pancasila," explained the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Zulpan.
