inp.polri.go.id – Polda Metro Jaya will hold an official street race in the Meikarta area, Bekasi Regency, West Java on 18-19 June 2022. The schedule for the event has been determined by the Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo when holding a coordination meeting with the Bekasi Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan. "We invite all parties involved in this event to attend the coordination meeting. The goal is to make sure the safety of this event can run well,” he explained. The street race is planned to be attended by around 1,100 racers. The race will be divided into two events, namely the first day attended by 700 participants and the second day attended by 400 participants. "In total there are 1,100 racers who participated," stated the Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya. The event, which will be held for two days, will provide a place for people who want to watch with a capacity of 2,500 people per day. "It will be held for two days, with a total audience of 5,000 people," explained Dirlantas. The Bekasi Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Gidion Arif also said that his party was looking forward to the event and was ready to support and secure the street race. "We are ready to support and secure this event until it is carried out successfully," he explained.
