inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police established three field kitchens for the victims of Kemayoran settlement fire.

Head of Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police, Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro says the three field kitchen units have been established to serve the hundreds of displaced people due to the fire incident.

"Currently, we have prepared a field kitchen to provide food for the evacuees. We have also prepared a temporary evacuation post at the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police," explained Susatyo on Tuesday (1/21/2025).

According to him, most of the evacuees consist of children, women, the elderly, and babies. For that reason, the field kitchen is focused on providing nutritious food that is easily accessible.

Until now, around 400 refugees have been accommodated at the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police, while additional tents are still under construction around Kemayoran Gempol and Kemayoran Ketapang. Susatyo said that aid continues to be distributed to the victims.
