inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police investigators revealed that a number of witnesses have been questioned regarding the alleged rape case committed against a toddler in Cijantung, Pasar Rebo. 

"We have questioned eight witnesses, which are the people who were around the victim," said East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Nicholas Ary Lilipaly, Monday (12/9/2024).

He explained that in this case, investigators are still waiting for the complete autopsy results from the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Kramatjati, East Jakarta, and hoped that there will be no speculation in this case.

He further explained that the cause of the victim's death is an important thing in this investigation process.

"First, we are focusing on determining the cause of death," he said.
