“We are deploying 40 personnel for the security,” says the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam in written statement on Saturday (8/31/2024).

According to him, the security will be stationed around Monas and Gambir Train Station. On the other hand, traffic engineering will be implemented according to the situation on the field.

He implores to the general public to avoid the streets around Monas and Gambir Train Station during the activity to avoid traffic jams. Moreover, the public who would like to see the activity are appealed to maintain order.

“The security for the arrival of the Indonesian Flag and the proclamation text will be held with a preemptive and preventive approach,” explains Ade.
