Police Reports Most Travelers Cross the Sea Through Merak Port

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) reports the ferry ship passengers are packed in Merak Port to Bakauheni. The latest report shows 39 ferry ships with 91 travels operate to serve the travelers. The spokesperson of INP, Senior Superintendent Iroth Lauren Recky states there are 96,720 people who used the ferry ships from Merak to Bakauheni. “The number of travelers are 96,720 people with a total vehicle of 15,369 units,” says Iroth on Tuesday (4/9/2024). Moreover, the traveler for Ciwandan to Bakauheni reportedly reached 26,221 with a total vehicle of 13,082 units. “Ships operating from Ciwandan Port to Bakauheni are seven ships with 12 travelers,” concludes Iroth.
