inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police revealed the facts discovered in the investigation into the death of the young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu), Arya Daru Pangayunan, also known as ADP (39).

The Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, stated that a plastic bag covered Arya Daru's head. His head was also wrapped in yellow duct tape.

"We need to inform you that the victim was found with his face covered by a plastic bag. He also wrapped it in yellow duct tape," said Ade Ary at the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police headquarters on Thursday (7/24/2025).

He stated that 15 witnesses have been questioned, including family members, coworkers, and residents of the victim's neighborhood.

"Investigators are conducting the investigation and collaborating with several experts. This demonstrates our commitment to uncovering the incident in an accountable, professional, and proportional manner, and the final results will be communicated transparently," said Ade Ary.
