Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has announced its annual Operation Ketupat to secure the upcoming 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel. The operation will involve the participation of personnel from INP, the Indonesian Military, the Ministry of Transportation, Jasa Marga, and other related stakeholders.

During a press conference held at the North Jakarta Regional Police Station on Wednesday (5/4/23), Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, the Head of Public Relations Division of INP, confirmed that "Operation Ketupat will be held from April 17th to May 1st."

All parties involved are currently conducting checks to ensure that there are no obstacles in the 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming facilities, he added.

"All Regional and Sub-Regional Police Chiefs are attending a virtual conference to receive direction from the Chief of INP regarding the readiness of Operation Ketupat," he said.

He assured the public that all facilities along the homecoming route have been thoroughly prepared. Various routes, traffic engineering, and congestion points have been identified and addressed in anticipation of the 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return traffic.
