Polri Held A Creation Competition and Music Festival for People to Express Their Aspiration

inp.polri.go.id – The National Police (Polri) Headquarters held a competition called 'Setapak Perubahan Polri' and music festival called 'Festival Musik Bhayangkara' which started from April to June 2022. Head of the Public Relations Division (Kadiv Humas) of Polri, Inspector General Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Sc., M.M., explained that the competition and festival were aimed to provide a place for the community to convey or channel their expressions and aspirations. With the enthusiasm of the residents still high regarding the delivery of aspirations, the Police again held this competition and a music festival According to Kadiv Humas Polri, the name of the creation competition of “Setapak Perubahan Polri” was inspired by a book of the National Police Chief (Kapolri), General Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., entitled 'Setapak Perubahan'. "In the book 'Tapak Changes', the National Police considers that the competition as a forum for aspirations and to show that the public's concern for the Police is still high. However it is, the voice of the community must be voiced and heard. The community is the target of Polri’s services as well as an important partner of the Police in realizing security of the region and the state," said Kadiv Humas Polri. The creation competition will compete the creativity of the people by writing in Blogs, making Short Films, Vlogs, TikTok, Infographic Content, or Photography. The sub-themes of the competition are TNI-Polri Synergy, Community Services, Digitalized Police, Police Attention to Vulnerable and Disabled People, Restorative Justice, E-Tickets, Efforts to Handle Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery, and Online Complaint Services. "The participants can express their ideas and creations according to the fields they master," said Dedi. Meanwhile, the Bhayangkara music festival is an event to accommodate aspirations through the art of music to convey messages or aspirations. Regarding this activity, the promotion and registration of participants will start from April 11 to May 29, 2022. Then, from the 10 best works, the winner, the runner up, and the third place from each category, will be determined from 7 to 15 June 2022. Furthermore, the participants' works are curated to the 10 best works from May 30 to June 5, 2022. And, the submission of the winning works on June 18, 2022.
