As the Pope traveled from Bundaran HI roundabout to the Vatican Embassy in Gambir, Central Jakarta, he greeted the enthusiastic onlookers. Seated in the front passenger seat of a Toyota Innova, the Pope waved and smiled, reflecting his characteristic warmth, as reported by antaranews.com.

Around 12.26 pm, Pope Francis and his entourage arrived at the embassy to rest before resuming his visit on Wednesday. Traffic around the embassy was congested as drivers waited for the convoy to pass.

Security was tight, with numerous police officers and men in suits stationed at the embassy gates. Many people, including those outside the gates, eagerly awaited the Pope’s arrival.

Maria, 27, and Paula, 26, expressed their joy, hoping the visit would bring peace. Father Markus Nur Widipranoto of the Indonesian Bishops Conference (KWI) added that the visit signifies a message of peace and unity for all humanity.
