Inp.polri.go.id - Malang. East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and the Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta and Commander of Military Region V / Brawijaya, Maj. Gen. Suharyanto, visited two tourist attractions in Batu City, Jawa Timur Park 3 and Selecta Recreation Park, Saturday (15/05/21). The Governor of East Java wants to ensure the strict application of health protocols (prokes) in several tourist attractions during the Eid Holiday season. The first point to be reviewed is Jatim Park 3 Batu City. Before entering the number one tourist spot in East Java and the East Java Leader, they are required to wash their hands using a hand sanitiser, followed by checking body temperature. At the entrance, you can see the queue distance between one visitor and another. Then after it was confirmed that the body temperature was below 37 degrees Celsius, Khofifah immediately entered the tourist area of the World Music Museum with a maximum capacity of 100 visitors. Furthermore, Khofifah specifically continued the visit to Selecta Batu Park. This place also ensures that the implementation of health protocols runs strictly from entry points to tourist sites. As in the gift shop, Selecta is limited to a maximum of 25 people. Khofifah appreciated the tour operators and visitors who obeyed the implementation of the 5 M health protocol (prokes), namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands in an orderly and strict manner and avoiding crowds. Based on the explanation of the East Java Park 3 Covid-19 Task Force Team, all health protocols have been appropriately prepared. "On this Eid holiday, I had the opportunity to see tourist attractions provide space for safe and healthy services, accompanied by strict health protocols. Thank you, everyone. In line with our expectations, the tourism management carries out strict health protocols and the Covid-19 Task Force Team has also limited the proportion of visitor capacity for tourist attractions and the Batu City Government, "explained the Khofifah. Meanwhile, Operation Manager of Jatim Park 3 Nhia Hapsari revealed that implementing strict health protocols is a form of Jatim Park 3's support to the government to reduce the Covid-19 number for economic recovery. In each area, wash hands before entering, checkpoints for employees and visitors. There are 56 handwashing basin and 100 bottles of hand-sanitiser throughout the Jatim Park 3 area. Then, check points for employees and visitors are also placed differently. For employees before entering tourist attractions, they are required to wear a mask, wash their hands and have their body temperature checked. Visitors are also required to wear a mask, wash their hands, have the temperature checked. If the temperature exceeds 37 degrees Celsius, an isolation room will be taken to rest first. If the symptoms point to Covid-19, the Referral Hospital will be contacted by Jatim Park 3. "To provide education in the form of videos on the implementation of health protocols in Jatim Park 3. Routine cleaning including the Jatim Park 3 handles. We also remind employees and visitors to continue to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols," said Nhia. Regarding visitor capacity, during normal conditions it can accommodate 10 thousand visitors. But in a pandemic condition like this time it is limited to only a thousand visitors. However, during the Pandemic the number of visitors to Jatim Park 3 was around 250 people per day. (ym / bq / hy)
