President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, accompanied by Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, Chief of West Java Regional Police, inaugurated the Leuwipanjang Bus Terminal in Bandung on Saturday (3/2/2024). President Jokowi commended the terminal's cleanliness and comfort, signaling a departure from the common perception of bus terminals. Encouraging the local community, particularly in Bandung, President Jokowi advocated for a shift towards mass transportation to combat burgeoning traffic issues, especially in major urban centers like Bandung. Simultaneously, alongside the Leuwipanjang Terminal, the Banjar Terminal in Banjar City was also inaugurated, marking a significant leap in the region's public transportation infrastructure. "May the Leuwipanjang and Banjar Terminals serve as beacons of comfort, igniting public interest in utilizing mass transit," expressed President Jokowi during the ceremony.
