Thousands of police personnel from INP Headquarters, Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, and Central Jakarta Sub-Regional Police have been deployed to ensure the security of the fifth presidential debate at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday (4/2/2024). "Debate security personnel total 2,292 individuals," said Police Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam, Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police's Public Relations. Traffic engineering will be applied as needed, with traffic police personnel assigned to regulate vehicle flow, he added. He encouraged the public to actively contribute to the success of the final debate and to maintain safety. "We urge the public to maintain traffic order and safety during this event," he concluded.
