Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Religion Ministry announced that the Indonesian pilgrim quota for 1445 Hijriah/2024 AD is full. The ministry warns the people not to be scammed by ads or offers of pilgrimage with non-pilgrim visa and without queue.

“People are urged to beware with the offers of pilgrimage with non-pilgrim visas. As of now, the Indonesian quota for the pilgrim is already full. We urged you not to be swayed or scammed by those offers,” said the spokesperson of Religion Ministry, Anna Hasbie on Sunday (5/5/2024).

The highlight from the ministry was conveyed by Anna following many offerings of pilgrimage with non-pilgrim visa, either disguising it with pilgrim officer visa, ummal visa, to multiple visa.

He says that the Indonesian quota for pilgrims is divided into two, the regular pilgrim which is organized by the government and the special pilgrim which is organized by the Special Pilgrim Organizer (PIHK).

This year, Indonesia was given 241,000 pilgrim quota, with 213,320 for regular pilgrim and 27,680 for special pilgrim.

On the other hand, Anna also reminds that the payment for the hajj pilgrimage has also been closed and as of now are in the middle of issuing the visa for the pilgrim. As of last week, there are 195,000 visas for regular pilgrims that have been issued.
