"If there are reports from the public about misuse of donation drives on social media, just report it to the Ministry of Communication and Information, and we will take action," said Minister Budi Arie on Monday, as reported by antaranews.com.
Minister Budi Arie's statement came amidst the increasing prevalence of donation drives on social media, which are susceptible to misuse.
While acknowledging the legitimacy of donation drives conducted by the public, Minister Budi Arie emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in such efforts.
He suggested that issues related to donation drives on social media should be coordinated with the Ministry of Social Affairs, which oversees donation-related matters
