"The readiness of facilities and infrastructure is also very important, such as the preparation of patrol bike and sterilization by members of the Mobile Brigade Unit at the location," said the Riau Islands Police Chief. The Riau Islands Police Chief also ordered his members to conduct simulations in the event of an accident when the race had started. “Simulate how long the evacuation effort will take to save a victim. But still, it is better to prevent that unwanted things to happen. Also, please form a fast-moving team whose aim is to anticipate urgent situations, "explained the Riau Islands Police Chief. Bintan Police Chief, AKBP. Tidar Wulung Dahono added 285 personnel were prepared to protect the Tour de Bintan. "It is estimated that there will be 946 participants from 40 countries, consisting of 800 men and 146 women," said the Bintan Police Chief.
