inp.polri.go.id -  Throughout October 2022, the South Sumatra Regional Police Narcotics Directorate, and the narcotics units in the ranks of resort polices and sectoral polices in South Sumatra succeeded in uncovering 30 narcotics cases by securing 39 suspects. "Of the 30 cases that our members managed to uncover, 39 suspects were also arrested, which 34 of them are the dealers and 5 users," explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Commissioner Supriadi, on Monday (10/10). In addition to securing narcotics suspects, the South Sumatra Police, and the ranks of resort polices and sectoral polices in South Sumatra managed to confiscate the drug evidence consist of 1.2 kg of crystal methamphetamine, 14.4 grams of marijuana, and 261 ecstasy pills. "From the evidence that has been secured by our members, the police have succeeded in rescuing around 7,900 potential victims," explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police. Supriadi appealed and reminded personnel to keep improving their performace in revealing drug crimes in their respective regions both in terms of quality and quantity so that drug trafficking in South Sumatra can be eradicated.
