Inp.polri.go.id – Riau. Riau Regional Police destroys drug evidence confiscated from a series of case disclosures. Drugs destroyed by the police include 88.65 kilograms of meth and 2,401 ecstasy pills.

Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal states that his party has conducted various ways to stop the drug circulation in the province, from preventive measures, massive socialization in the community, and law enforcement.

“We have conducted initiation and education to the people including in schools to spread the word regarding the dangers of drugs. Our preventive effort is massive to this day,” said the police chief on Friday (4/26/2024).

On the other hand, the Riau Regional Police Drug Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Manang Soebeti says that the evidence destroyed is disclosed from the 17 drug dealers

“All evidence is from cases disclosed from last Ramadan.There are 17 suspects arrested from our eight disclosures. These dealers are from the international drug ring,” said Soebeti.

Soebeti implores the public who has the information on the whereabouts of drug dealers and couriers to immediately report the case to the police.
