The Regional Police Chief revealed that the security for RI 1 was carried out at several points. The security process is also carried out in a humane way, but still in accordance with the President's security procedures. The Maluku Police Chief admitted that the enthusiasm of the community in welcoming President Jokowi's arrival in Saumlaki was extraordinary. "Tens of thousands of people welcomed the President enthusiastically. PAM officers who were members of the VVIP PAM Task Force from the Army and Police, as well as related agencies, carried out security operations humanely and according to PAM protocols," he added. Considering that the security process took place safely and smoothly, the Police Chief expressed his gratitude to all security officers and the people of Saumlaki. The Maluku Regional Police Chief admitted that the people in Saumlaki are wonderful, because they have cooperated with the officers in maintaining the situation. In fact, continued the Police Chief, the people in Saumlaki have shown hospitality as the people of Maluku. So that the President's visit will run safely, comfortably and smoothly. "Hopefully, the presence of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in Saumlaki, will bring prosperity to Maluku," hoped the Police Chief.
