inp.polri.go.id - Balikpapan. Personnel of A Pioneer Battalion of the East Kalimantan Regional Police Mobile Brigade Corps deployed for the security of a football match between Borneo FC and Arema Malang which was held at the Batakan Balikpapan Stadium, on Sunday (1/19/2025).

The Commander of A Pioneer Battalion of East Kalimantan Regional Police Mobile Brigade Corps, Police Assistant Superintendent Iwan Pamuji explained to the personnel carrying out security to remain alert to all possible occurrences.

“We are doing multiple security at the stadium gate entrance and the spectator stands for the whole duration of the match. We expect this security operation to run orderly and safely," he explained.

Security personnel are instructed not to take the security operation lightly and ensure that the match runs smoothly, safely and conducively.

"In securing this match, we also appeal to the public through a preemptive and preventive approach to help maintain public order and security," he concluded.
