Suspects Claimed to be Journalist Arrested After Damaging a Gas Station

inp.polri.go.id -  The criminal investigation unjt of Pidie Police have successfylly arrested twonof three suspect who damaged one engine pump fuel oil gas stations of PT. Kuala Blessing. Reported by ajnn, the incident that happened in Gempong Blok Sawah, Sigli City, Pidie Regency, caused a huge loss reaching dozens of millions of rupiah. The damaged engine pump fuel was caused by a group of people who claimed to be journalists on October 1st 2022. Twelve days after the incident managed to secure the suspects with the initials of SF (28) from North Aceh arrested in Jambo Aye on Thursday (10/13), and MZ (37) from Pidie arrested in Banda Aceh on Friday (10/14). Meanwhile, another suspect with the initials of MK, from Simpang Tiga, is still in pursuit and has been listed as a wanted man. Tarmizi, as the manager of Kuala Berkah Gas Station, said his gratitude for the police in disclosing the case. “I want to say thank you to Pidie Police who have arrested the suspect who damaged the engine pump fuel oil,” said Tarmizi. Morever, Tarmizi also told the chronology of the incident. On the day of the incident, Tarmizi, who was still at his home, was contacted by an unknown man who claimed to be a journalist at around 10:52 WIB. He asked him to refill the fuel of his car free of charge. Tarmizi, who haven’t granted that man wish, heard that the man has already forced the gas station officer to refill the fuel of his car, and immediately during the refill, causing the engine pump fuel oil stuck onto his car and dragged along with it.
