Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang.  Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan announced on Saturday (12/10/2024) that Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024 recorded provisional transactions totaling $22.73 billion, surpassing the US$15 billion target.

During the closing ceremony, he said that  the transaction included. $19.69 billion in goods and services transactions and $3.4 billion in investments. India topped the list of trading partners, followed by Vietnam, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and Egypt.

Minister Zulkifli praised the success of the expo, which provided benefits for exporters and buyers alike. 

The TEI helps Indonesian businesses introduce their products globally and expand into new markets. Organized by the Ministry of Trade, TEI focuses on business-to-business (B2B) transactions, promoting high-quality Indonesian products to the global market, according to antaranews.com.

Minister Zulkifli raised his optimism that Indonesia’s exports will continue to grow through efforts to enhance competitiveness and explore non-traditional markets.
