Argo said that the Food Task Force for the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police had checked soybean importers' warehouses yesterday. The soybeans are distributed through distributors with a current price of IDR 8,600 / kg, an increase of around IDR 1,000 since mid-December 2020. "Information was obtained from the company staff. The increase in prices was due to the fact that in addition to the purchase price in the country of origin there was an increase from 6,800 to 8,300, it was also due to the fact that since the middle of October-December 2020 ships heading to Indonesia are very rare, so they use Singapore-bound transportation and frequent delays due to waiting time in connecting to Indonesia so that the delay is between 2- 3 weeks, "said Argo. Then the second check was carried out at PT. FKS Mitra Agro at Pasar Kemis Pasir Jaya Cikupa Tangerang.
