Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Special Datasement 88 Anti-terror Indonesian National Police (INP) arrested three suspected terrorists in several regions of Indonesia. The initial arrest was made on Wednesday (31/5/23) in the morning in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. The Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, explained that the suspected terrorist who was arrested had the initials MT.

"MT was facilitated by YR to go to Yemen and join the Al Qaeda branch of the AQAP organization and currently it is still being developed," said Police Brigadier General Ahmad Rmadhan based on information reported by Tribunnews, Sunday (4/6/23).

Meanwhile, on Saturday (3/6/23), Special Anti-terror Unit 88 managed to arrest a suspected terrorist in Banyuwangi, East Java.

"And currently it is still being developed," he explained further.

Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan added that a suspected terrorist was also arrested on Sunday at 12.05 WIB.

"One suspect suspected of being a terrorist on behalf of ES Alias L (arrested) in Tulungagung Regency, East Java," he added.

ES alias L, left for Yemen on December 14 2014 with 4 other colleagues namely HS, AAK, MT, and MAA.

Currently, investigators are still investigating the links between the three suspected terrorist suspects, including the roles of the three suspects and their network.
