Inp.polri.go.id - Pontianak. The West Kalimantan Regional Police have been two applications, the Integrated Operating System (SOT) and Early Warning System (EWS), to maintain public security and order during the 2024 regional elections. 

These tools are being utilized throughout the Mantap Praja Kapuas 2024 operation, according to antaranews.com.

Senior Superintendent Raden Petit Wijaya, the West Kalimantan Head of Public Relations, said, “The use of SOT and EWS apps aims to enhance our service effectiveness during the 2024 election stages. We want to ensure that the security situation in West Kalimantan remains safe and conducive.”

The SOT app provides real-time monitoring of security conditions, including personnel locations, CCTV feeds, traffic flow, and social media. Meanwhile, EWS detects potential security threats using sensors for smoke, earthquakes, and sea waves.

“These technologies are crucial for planning operations and achieving mission success,” added Chief Petit.
