AIPF Collaborates Private and Public Sector in Indo-Pacific

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) became one of the main events of the 43rd ASEAN Summit which was held in Hotel Mulia from 5-6 September. The first ever AIPF meeting took the theme of “Implementation ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific”. AIPF aims to bridge private and public sector in ASEAN for a stronger cooperation. This forum will become the platform for ASEAN state members and partners. They could construct actual projects by having a constructive discussion which then would improve the collaboration in Indo-Pacific. In AIPF 2023, there are three sub-theme which are green infrastructure, strong chain supply, innovative continuous payment, inclusive digital transformation, and creative economy. “AIPF will be an important momentum to show, strengthen, and expand the collaboration of public-private sector on ASEAN and Indo-Pacific. This would make ASEAN the epicentrum of growth,” says the Minister of State-Enterprise Erick Thohir as the Coordinator of ASEAN 2023 Side Event. According to him, the first day of AIPF will include an overview of the region, followed by a brief look at the three AIPF sub-themes. On the second day, there will be Leaders’ Talks, Panel Discussion, Business Matching with current and soon-to-be investors. AIPF will also displays various main projects in Indonesia and all of Indo-Pacific which in line with the sub-theme of AIPF. Several Indonesian state-enterprises such as BRI, Pertamina, PLN, Mandiri Bank, BNI, MIND ID, Telkom Indonesia, and InJourney are actively participate in AIPF 2023.
