Sambom said that the KKB had killed an undercover intelligence member of the Indonesian Military disguised as a motorcycle taxi driver in Nabire, Central Papua, on July 11, 2023. "His claim is false. Based on our investigation, the victim is a civilian who works as a motorcycle taxi driver," he said. The victim is identified as a 21-year-old individual named Ripin, who worked as a private motorcycle taxi driver. The incident took place at Poros Nabire Street - Samabusa, Sanoba Village. Ripin's lifeless body was discovered beside his motorcycle on Manobi Street, Bumi Wonorejo Village, Nabire. A witness who found the body promptly reported the discovery to the Nabire Sub-Regional Police Headquarters, leading to a thorough crime scene investigation conducted by the police. The victim's body was subsequently taken to the Nabire Regional General Hospital. Following an examination at the hospital, it was determined that the victim had sustained 23 stab wounds to his back with a sharp object, along with 2 stab wounds on the left side of his chest.
