Inp.polri.go.id - Pontianak.  Inspector General  Djoko Poerwanto, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, warned residents in the region regarding the recent surge in motorcycle theft. "I urge the public not to leave their vehicles unattended, as criminals are exploiting this negligence to commit crimes," he said on Tuesday (19/3/2024). To counter these criminal activities, each police office under the jurisdiction of the Central Kalimantan Police intensified patrols in areas prone to criminal acts. "I recommend that the public use additional locks on their vehicles and avoid careless parking, which makes it easier for criminals to operate," Chief Djoko said (mg/ndt/pr/nm)
