The Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) Genereal Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono lead a joint security rally for the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This call was carried out to final check the readiness of members, equipment, and defense equipment.
According to General Sigit, there are more than 12,000 joint personnel who will be tasked with providing security for the ASEAN Summit.
"Security starts from 7-13 May 2023 involving more than 12,000 joint personnel," said the National Police Chief in his remarks, Saturday (6/5/23).
The security pattern, according to him, will be carried out in three zones. Then, security is carried out starting from the arrival of VVIPs and VIPs, to their return with an open and closed pattern.
"These various things are of course prepared to secure the 2023 ASEAN Summit from various possible threat situations, such as criminal acts, demonstrations, security and security disturbances, cyber-attacks, to contingency situations of terrorism and natural disasters," said the National Police Chief.
