Metro Jaya Regional Police reveals the Cikunir node has become their main focus as it potentially could cause traffic congestion during the Homecoming flow. “In Jakarta, the point that became our main focus is indeed Cikunir node,” said the Traffic Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Latif Usman on Friday (4/5/2024). He explains that the node will be resolved by activating the Cimanggis-Cibitung functional toll. The toll road will operate from 06.00 am to 17.00 pm. Latif Usman says that the commuter from Bogor to Cibubur could use the functional toll road. Then, from Depok to Cibitung could also use the functional toll road. “So that you could quickly cut your travel faster. Usually those from Bogor and Depok going to Cikunir node have to go to Jakarta, now you can cut the way for around 40-50 km,” explain Latif. (ad/inp/pr/nm)
