inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Coordinating Ministry of Human and Culture Development, Muhadjir Effendy says that the visit of Pope Francis could bring benefits to the whole country.

In his statement, he says that the visit does not only bring joys to the Catholics in Indonesia, but also to Indonesian in general.

“All are filled with joy with the visit of the number one person at the Vatican Holy See," he said on  Monday (9/2/2024).

He stressed that the visit could strengthen the spirit of religious diversity in Indonesia, so that the visit of Pope Francis would boost the unity of the state.

"Hopefully the presence of the Pope will bring grace and blessings to all the people and nation of Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Conference on Religion and Peace (ICRP) held a Tolerance Festival at the National Gallery in Jakarta. Coordinating Minister Muhadjir opened the event held to welcome Pope Francis' visit to Indonesia.
