Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Criminal Investigation Board (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police (INP) has named two people in the criminal case of trafficking in persons (TPPO) to Myanmar. The two suspects are ASD and ASN.

The Director of General Crimes at The Criminal Investigation Board, Police Brigadier General Djuhandani explained that the determination of the suspect was carried out after the case was held today.

"Leaders and participants agreed that the case reported on behalf of ASD and ASN could be designated as a suspect," said Djuhandani, Tuesday (9/5/23).

He explained that the suspect was proven to have committed the Crime of Trafficking in Persons according to the elements in Article 4 of Law No. 21 of 2007 concerning the crime of trafficking in persons and/or Article 81 of Law No. 18 of 2017 concerning Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI).

Next, investigators will search for the two suspects. In addition, explore whether there are other parties involved.
