Inp.polri.go.id - Mimika.  The Tuesday afternoon sun cast a warm glow over Mimika in Central Papua as two Damai Cartenz Operations 2025 officers, First Brigadier Yoga Yandika and Second Brigadier Annisa Mahardika, walked along Cenderawasih Street, SP2, and SP3.

Instead of weapons or tactical gear, they carried boxes of milk—simple yet meaningful gifts for the children they met along the way.

With bright smiles, the officers handed out the milk to eager hands, exchanging laughter and lighthearted conversations. For the officers, this was more than just a routine task; it was a way to connect with the local community, to let the children know they were seen and cared for.

Before parting, officer Yoga and officer Annisa shared words of encouragement, urging the children to dream big, stay in school, and always choose kindness.

Senior Superintendent Yusuf Sutejo, the Damai Cartenz Operations 2025 Head of Public Relations, explained on Wednesday (29/1/2025) that the milk distribution reflects the officers’ dedication to supporting the growth and well-being of Papuan children.

"We fully understand that children are the future of our nation," he said, adding that the initiative is part of the police force’s broader mission to enhance the quality of life in the local community, especially for Papua’s younger generation.
