Inp.polri.go.id - Pasuruan.  Brigadier General Yuyun Yudhantara, the Deputy Operations Chief of Nusantara Cooling System (NCS) of the Indonesian National Police (INP), visited the residence of Habib Taufiq bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf, the Chairman of Rabithah Alawiyah, in Pasuruan, East Java, on Thursday (25/1/24). General Yuyun led his delegation, including  Chief of Preemptive Task Force,Brigadier General M Rudy Syafirudin, Operations Support Chief Brigadier General Eko Rudi Sudarto, Preemptive Deputy Chief Senior Superintendent Dwi Suryo Cahyono, and Intelligence Sub-Chief, Senior Superintendent Tony Budhi Susetyo, to  visit the prominent Islamic scholar to promote unity and solidarity ahead of the 2024 elections. "We, from the Nusantara Cooling System Operation of the Indonesian National Police, invite religious leaders and other figures to call for maintaining unity and national harmony ahead of the elections. This way, the community won't be divided even with different choices," he said. Habib Taufiq said that collaboration is essential to carry out the police's dutie  to ensure a safe and peaceful election. "God Willing, it will be safe; having different choices is allowed as long as there is no turmoil. Personal interests should not sacrifice the interests of many," said Habib Taufiq. (mg/ndt/pr/nm)
