Large-scale patrols are carried out by joint forces. There were two teams that took turns in patrol. Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said, to anticipate this crime, his party deployed Bhayangkara Security Unit, together with locals. "We are also increasing our strength by deploying 100 Security Maintenance Agency personnel so that police officers can more freely carry out surveillance in residential areas. There are also personnel from Mobile Brigade Corps and carrying out the same patrols to the affected areas," explained the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police.
