Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Inspector General  Aan Suhanan of the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Traffic Corps confirmed on Monday (6/5/2024) that electric vehicles are ready to use for the 10th World Water Forum in Bali from 18-25 May 2024. 

These vehicles, including 75 electric motorcycles and 50 electric cars, will escort VVIPs and heads of state. The Traffic Corps also provides 85 conventional fossil fuel motorcycles and 98 cars for the event, Chief Aan said.

The deployment includes two Mobile Communication Units for traffic control and one Road Accident Rescue vehicle. 

Chief Aan said that the vehicles will depart on 9 May 2024, while passenger cars for 1,534 police officers will depart on 11 May 2024 to facilitate the Bali Regional Police in supporting the event.
